Jain Vishva Bharti University in Ladnun

Jain Vishva Bharati University (JVBU) previously named as Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI) was established and awarded the status of "Deemed to be University" in 1991. Acharya Tulsi, the 9th head of the Jain Svetambar Terapanth religion sect was the inspiration behind JVBU establishment. He was also the first Anushasta (Preceptor) of the Institute and Acharya Mahaprajna was his successor.Presently Acharya Mahashraman is the Anushasta of the university.
