Uttarakhand Technical University UKTECH will be conducting the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination–2017 (UKSEE -2017) for candidates seeking admission into the 1st year of courses such that B.Pharm, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), MCA Courses and 2nd year of courses such that B.Tech. Lateral entry /B.Pharm. Lateral Entry, MCA Lateral Entry into the various government and private colleges in the state of Uttrakhand. This state level exam is conducted every year in the state as well different exam centers across the country. 1. Engineering & Technology: Lateral entry to 2nd year
A) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institute with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
B) Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
2. Pharmacy :-
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject
3. Hotel Management & Catering Technology:-
Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination
4. MCA:-
Should have a recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level and should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
5. MCA Lateral Entry:-
Should have a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs. duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level and should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination
6. Domicile Rquirements:-
Those candidates who have passed/are appearing in the qualifying examination from/in other states, but have domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply for admission under Uttarakhand quota (85% reservation of seats).

The UKSEE 2015 exam will consist of 9 papers; each paper will consist of objective type questions. The exam pattern for UKSEE exam is given below:
