Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Bangalore, is a medical college and hospital run by Sri Siddhartha Educational Society (SSES), established in 1988. The college campus spread over 220 acres. Sri Siddhartha Medical College offers undergraduate, post graduate and diploma courses in the field of MBBS, MD and MS programme. Admission to MBBS candidates must hold MBBS degree and should have passed the two year Pre-University course /Standard XII (10+2) examination with physics, Chemistry and Biology as electives with English as one of the subject. The admission will be made through CET/COMED-K entrance tests. The selection of students is on the basis of merit in the common entrance test (CET) conducted by Govt. of Karnataka followed by centralized counseling. For MD/MD candidates should have passed MBBS Degree examination with minimum 50% marks from a recognized medical college affiliated to any University in India and recognized by Medical Council of India. Candidates should have completed 1 year of compulsory rotating internship from the same college or as approved by MCI, Admission will be made through PGET/COMED-K Entrance Exam.
