Shyam Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET) lacated at lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district of Rajasthan. Sprawling green campus of SIET spread over an area of 65,000 sq. feet, the college is equipped with excellent infrastructure in the form of spacious building has separate administrative and academic block ,best equipped laboratories and workshops. The infrastructure is designed to challenge & stimulate the finest minds. The spacious & imposing set-up of the campus with its architectonic beauty provides the most invigorating environment to optimize the functional efficiency of the students. SIET was established under the aegis of Shyam Knowledge Park Shiksha Samiti in the year 2010. All courses of Institute are duly recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
The promoter of Shyam Institute of Engineering & Technology had The vision to make the engineering college with a difference and so right from the start emphasis was laid on good infrastructure and well qualified staff that would cultivate and nurture every entrant into the portals of SIET and inspire them to excellence. This meant setting up policies and processes that would ensure this objective.
SIET offering full-time degree courses in Engineering (B.Tech) in following 4 discipline:
Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech)
For B.Tech - Admissions in B.Tech. courses for all seats (including 15% seats in Self-Financed courses for outside Rajasthan students on the basis of JEE Mains score and TFWS seats) are through centralized counselling by the Government of Rajasthan. This year the admission shall be done through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) conducted by Board of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. In REAP, admissions on 50 % seats shall be on the basis of JEE (Mains) Score and admission on 50% seats shall be on the basis senior secondary school marks. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech. program is, as per Govt. of Rajasthan Rules, a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech./B.E. courses shall be as Physics & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects and any one of the optional Subjects out of the following: (1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology (3) Computer Science (4) Biology.
