Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Engineering college is a Well Known Engineering college in Jodhpur. It is approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech)
For B.Tech - The minimum academic qualification for admission to B. Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to "SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non Creamy layer)" of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Phy., Chem., Maths) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE). The admissions will be made strictly as per RTU guidelines
For Lateral Entry(B.Tech.-II yr) - Ten percent of the sanctioned intake in each discipline of I year B.Tech. is reserved for admission in II year B.Tech. for Diploma in Engineering (in concerned branch) and B.Sc. with Maths (as a subject) with minimum 45% for General and 40% for ST/SC/OBC. The Centralized Admission Coordination will fill up these seats through counseling, after inviting applications from the eligible candidates throughly LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy).
