Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, is an Autonomous Institution affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), with the approval of UGC and Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), established in 2001. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology offers in under graduate and post graduate in Engineering, Management & Doctoral courses in the field of B.E, MCA, MBA, M.Tech and PhD. Admission to B.E candidate should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. For MBA candidates who have passed the bachelor degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination, admission will be made through PGCET/ K-MAT/C-MAT Entrance Exam. For MCA candidates should pass bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% along with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects/ electives at degree level, admission will be made through PGCET/K-MAT Exam. For M.Tech candidates passed in (B.E./B.Tech) as specified in annexure with not less than 50% marks, admission will be done through PGCET / GATE. For PhD candidates must pass in Master Degree with minimum 50% marks. Admission will be done through Common Entrance Exam.
