For Diploma - The minimum academic qualification for admission to Diploma in Engineering is a pass 10th Class or its equivalent examinations from any recognized Board with minimum 35%, The candidates must have minimum 15 years of age on the last date of application. All admission will made under guidelines of Board of Technical Education Rajasthan (BTER).
For B.Tech. - Admissions in B.Tech.. courses for all seats (including 15% seats in Self-Financed courses for outside Rajasthan students on the basis of JEE Mains score and TFWS seats) are through centralized counseling by the Government of Rajasthan. This year the admission shall be done through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) conducted by Board of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. In REAP, admissions on 50 % seats shall be on the basis of JEE (Mains) Score and admission on 50% seats shall be on the basis senior secondary school marks. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech.. program is, as per Govt. of Rajasthan Rules, a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech../B.E. courses shall be as Physics & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects and any one of the optional Subjects out of the following: (1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology (3) Computer Science (4) Biology.
For M.Tech - Admissions to the M. Tech course are done directly on the basis of merit. GATE qualified candidate are preferred. As per AICTE norms. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Candidate should obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
