Jyoti Girls Teachers Training College in Udaipur

Jyoti Girls Teachers Training College was started by Jyoti Educational Society which was established at The land of Legend Maharana Pratap and The City of Lakes, Udaipur on 27th November, 1972 at Kharol Colony, Fatehpura, Udaipur. The institute offers bachelor of education degree and is girls only college. It is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University in Ajmer Rajasthan.

Facilities

• Library & Reading Room– The institution has a model library at Fatehpura which has all kinds of text books and reference books on all subjects. It has a lot of books covering requirements of students and teachers.
• Computer Lab– Looking to present and future needs of the institution computer teaching has been started from session 1997 – 98. In the computer lab all the facilities including 15 computer are available.
• Science Lab– There are 3 science labs in the institute. The Lab is reasonably equipped.  Students can work in the Lab during their practice teaching nothing would be given from the science lab.
• There is a well equipped Geography Lab in the campus with all the latest material and facilities.

Admission

The selection of candidates for admission to B.Ed. course in every Teacher’s Training College affiliated to the University shall be made in accordance with the Result of pre teacher education test P.T.E.T. only.The entrance test (PTET) would be conducted by M.D.S. University, Ajmer.The admissions would be given on the basis of the merit (ranking) list formed on the basis of the PTET.For having admissions in the B.Ed. Programme, a student must have at least 50% of the total marks in his graduation level for general. 45% for SC/ST 47% for OBC.
