Institute of Health Management Research in Jaipur

Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research, was founded in 1984 in Jaipur. Over the years the Institute has created a niche for itself in providing quality education in Health Management and Hospital Management.It has made phenomenal contributions to both research and education in the area of management of health services achieving a pride of place in health management, planning and research at the national and international levels.

The Institute campus is located near Sanganer Airport and is spread over an exquisitely landscaped area of 14 acres. The architecture of the Institute with traditional blending of local culture is one of the best in the country.The facilities at the Institute are of international standards. The main building has an academic block, a computer center, a library and documentation center, a conference hall, an auditorium, an MDP center, seminar rooms, tutorial rooms and lecture halls. There are three hostel buildings which can accommodate as many as 187 students in rooms which are fully furnished and provided with a telephone and central air-cooling.

Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM)

The Institute offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Program with specialization in Hospital Management and Health Management. It is a flagship educational program aiming at developing trained professionals with requisite skills in planning and operating management techniques; diagnosing and solving management problems; and acquiring consultancy skills, with a view to preparing them to manage hospitals and healthcare institutions in developing countries both in the public and the private sectors, and to meet the rising demand for quality care.

Admission Procedure for (PGDHM):

The eligible candidates will be invited for Group Discussion and Interview. The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination with proportional score in MAT/CMAT/RMAT/CAT/GPAT/IRMA (as applicable for each program) , work experience, group discussion and interview.

Post graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Managment:

The Institute offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Management. As the program has set high standards of management education in the pharmaceutical management sector, it has attained the status of a premier program in the country. Our students go for training and placement to a large number of pharmaceutical organizations.The program, with an intake capacity of 60 seats, is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Managment :

“School of Rural Management” under the aegis of the Institute offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Program in Rural Management. This program aims at preparing professionals for a challenging career in rural management for public, private sectors, NGOs, and national and multinational organizations.The program, with an intake capacity of 60 seats, is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
