Department of Management Studies (DOMS), IIS, Bangalore, is one of the oldest management B-School, established in 1948. Department of Management Studies, IIS offers management courses in the field of Master of Management (M.Mget), MBA and PhD programmes. The Department offers an M.Mgt Master of management programme exclusively for engineering graduates. It has a very strong research programme leading to a Ph.D. degree in management for full-time students, to teachers from engineering colleges under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP), and to practising professionals from industry on the part-time basis through External Registration Programme (ERP). Admission to M.Mgt candidates must have B.E/B.Tech or equivalent with First class and Admission will be made through GATE/CAT/GMAT etc shortlisted candidates will be informed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. For PhD candidates must have Master Degree in ME/M.Tech/M.Sc Engg. and admission will be made through university norms.
