Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, established in 1954. It is one of the oldest business schools in India which started offering a Full Time MBA programme. The institute was started at the Delhi School of Economics premises under the then Dean, Prof. A. Das Gupta. Faculty of Management Studies offered Management education and Doctoral courses in the field of MBA and PhD courses. Admission to MBA course will be based on Interview, GD and CAT score. For PhD programme a candidate must have obtained a Master’s/M.Phil. Degree of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or Candidate must have obtained either a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the M.Phil. Candidates having a MBA/Master’s Degree in an allied subject from University of Delhi or equivalent would be required to write the CAT Exam for admission to the PhD programme. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree of duration of four years or more, viz. B.Tech or MBBS who have obtained a minimum of 70% and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively, and also have obtained any national level fellowships, are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D. programme in this College.
