Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, was founded by Sri R Dayananda Sagar and is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta Trust, established in 1979. The campus spread over 28 acres. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering offers programs in post-graduation and doctoral programs covering Engineering, Dental Sciences, Biological Sciences Arts, Commerce, Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health, as well as Business Management and Information Technology. Admission to BE/B.Tech candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent. The selection will be based on JEE Mains Entrance Exam. For M.Sc Nursing candidate should have passed Bachelors or equivalent. The selection will be based on Entrance Exam held by the university. For M.Tech candidate should pass a B.Tech degree with minimum 50% from a recognized university. The selection will be based on as per the university norms. For MBA candidate must clear BBA or Graduate from a recognized university. Selection will be based CAT/MAT/XAT Entrance Exam. For MCA candidate should have passed BCA or Graduate from a recognized university, admission will be based on Common Entrance Exam (CET). For MD candidate must have MBBS degree from a recognized university, the selection is based on the personal interview of the candidate. For MPT candidates must have 50% marks in Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent degree from recognized Institute/ University, admission will be done through CET Exam. For PhD candidate should have passed a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university. The selection will be based on as per the university norms.
