Admission to MBBS candidate must have Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy / Yoga courses, have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group. 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category-1 candidates provided that for Dental course, the candidate must have secured 50% marks in the optional subjects including English subject, admission will be made through Common Entrance Exam. For B.Sc candidates should pass in PUC / PDC (10+2) or passed any other examination conducted by boards/councils/Intermediate Education established by state Govt./Central Govt. with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects. For M.Sc candidate must pass in BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing of RGUHS or any other University accepted as equivalent by RGUHS and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. For MS/MD candidate must have MBBS degree of this university or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto by the authority of this university and the Medical Council of India and obtained permanent registration from any of the state Medical Councils, admission will be done through Common Entrance Exam (CET).
