Army College of Medical Sciences is an Indian medical college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, established in 2008, It is supported by Army Welfare Education Society Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) of Indian Army for wards of serving and retired personnel of the Indian Army. Army College of Medical Sciences offer MBBS medical courses. Admission to MBBS is given to those who are wards of Army person & SC/ST only and candidates must passed their Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, including 1 years of internship. Admissions will be done on the basis of merit of qualified candidates in NEET, merit list is prepared by the University, which carries out counseling, and students are admitted. On completion of the course, top 50% candidates of MBBS degree are invited to join the defense forces, if medical fitness is as per the Defense Forces of India.
