Laxmi Devi Institute of Engineering & Technology (LIET), Alwar established by Marut Nandan Educational Society (MNES) in the year 2001 is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and approved by Govt. of Rajasthan & AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. LIET offers courses like B.tech, M.Tech and MBA with on-campus placements in companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys Technologies, L&T Infotech, i-flex Solutions, Zensar Technologies, MBT (Tech Mahindra), Huges Software Systems, Impetus Infotech, IBM India Pvt. Ltd., i-Gate Global Solutions, Birlasoft, Wipro Technologies, and many more.

Admission Procedure

For B.Tech - The students seeking admission may qualify for the combined entrance test i.e. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or approach directly to the Engineering Colleges through the process of Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) on Merit Basis in the year of admission.

For Lateral Entry(B.Tech.-II yr) - Ten percent of the sanctioned intake in each discipline of I year B.Tech. is reserved for admission in II year B.Tech. for Diploma in Engineering (in concerned branch) and B.Sc. with Maths (as a subject) with minimum 45% for General and 40% for ST/SC/OBC. The Centralized Admission Coordination will fill up these seats through counseling, after inviting applications from the eligible candidates throughly LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy).

For M.Tech - B.E./B.Tech. in discipline (EC, CSE, IT, EE, ME) or M.Sc Physics (Electronics), with a valid GATE Score card (optional) admission in the relevant session is made through centralized admissions for M.Tech.(CAM).

For M.B.A. - Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and CMAT or CAT score is essential.
