Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute in Udaipur

Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute established in year 1956 is a post graduate college affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, VBRI has various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes like B.Sc., B.A., B.Com., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com. along with B.C.A. and B.B.M. The vast lush green campus has a beautiful landscape, well furnished library, laboratories, hostel facility, gymnasium and sprawling playground.Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute is located at Badgaon, near the city of lakes Udaipur in southern Rajasthan. The College is situated in 60 acres of green, clean and serene environment.

Admission Procedure

For UG Courses-10+2 / Inter passed; Arts/Science/Commerce students who have secured 50% marks are eligible for admission. SC/ST and O.B.C. (non-creamy layer) students are eligible for admission on minimum pass marks. If seats remain empty general students with minimum pass marks will be given admission as per rules of the state government.

For PG Course– Graduation with minimum 48% or 55% in opted subject. SC/ST and O.B.C. (non-creamy layer) students are eligible for admission on minimum pass marks.

Admission is given on first-come-first basis. Reservation policies prescribed by the government are strictly followed in admission process. If seats remain empty then admissions may be given to general category students on first-come-first basis.Admission Forms are available at the administrative office on prescribed fees. Students can also get the Prospectus and Admission Forms by sending a D.D. in favour of Director, VBRI payable at Udaipur.
