REAP 2016 – Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process 2017 Exam

Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) now replaced by REAP 2015 (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process ) .Earlier Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan used to conduct exam called as RPET(Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test) .Now the board have Introduced REAP from year 2015, the candidates will be given admissions on the basis of their performance in either JEE Main 2015 or class 12, as per the choice entered by them in the online application.

On line Applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants for the registration in Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process(REAP)-2015 for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech. / B.E.) in various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities) for the session 2015-2016.

Through JEE Main 2015 about 50 percent of the seats will be filled in Engineering colleges of the State .While the remaining 50 percent seats will be based on the Class XII merit list.Duration of submission of the online application form will be from 01.06.2015 to 11-06-2015. However the last date for depositing the fees through e-Mitra/CSC network will be 10-06-2015.

For BTECH / B.E Engineering Program

Educational Qualification

• The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to“SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ Non Creamy Layer SBC” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech. / B.E course shall be as under:
  

  Compulsory Subjects	Any one of the Optional Subjects
  Physics & Mathematics	(1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology (3) Computer Science (4) Biology

Only those candidates shall be eligible who have passed in each subject of above combination and fulfills the minimum academic qualification as mentioned above.

Online Application Form For REAP 2015

The applications form for REAP-2015 will be accepted online only. The process of online submission of application form for REAP-2015 shall be carried out through any of the following websites :- http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in ,www.reapadm.com ,www.reapadm.org

• Date of Commencement for filling of the online application – 1-06-2015
• Last Date of depositing the fees through e-Mitra/CSC network – 30-06-2015

• Last date for receipt of Application Hard Copy with required documents at REAP office, Jodhpur – 03-07-2015

Deposition of Application Form Fees

Cost of REAP-2015 Application Form is Rs. 400/-. Candidates should contact any e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan and deposit a sum of Rs. 410/- (Rs. 400/- against Application form Fees and Rs. 10/- for e-Mitra service charges). This amount is neither refundable nor transferable or adjustable in future.

• The kiosk will generate a 16-digit Token number for the candidate using e-Mitra portal and issue a receipt containing this Token number. Candidates are advised to keep this receipt safely with them for further use.
• In order to activate the online application form for entering the required details, the candidatemust enter his/her token no. in the appropriate column of the application form. The online application form will not accept entries without his/her Token number.

***Candidate must take a printout of application form, which will be generated by the web portal after final submission. Hardcopy is to be kept with the candidate himself /herself.

Documents For Online Form

• Scanned image of his/her Photograph in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 100 KB).
• Scanned image of his/her Signature in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 50 KB)
• Scanned images of mark sheets of X, XI and XII examination
• Scanned image of mark sheet of JEE (Mains)-2015 score card
• Scanned images of documents related to domicile of Rajasthan and reservation category.
• Receipt issued by eMitra/CSC kiosk containing the Token Number.
• The candidates belonging to KM category has to uplo
  ad a certificate from the competent authority as a proof to being son/daughter of displaced person from Jammu & Kashmir.

For Out of Rajasthan Candidates

Online applications are invited from such candidates only who belong to any State other than Rajasthan State for admission to First year of degree engineering courses on the basis of JEE(mains) score. 15% seats in the Private Unaided Engineering Institutions and 15% seats in the Self-Financed Courses in Govt. Aided Engineering Institutions of Rajasthan State as mentioned in SEAT MATRIX are available for such candidates.

Admission Process Through REAP

Phase 1

Two separate merit Lists will be prepared viz. first based on JEE (Mains)-2015 score (Merit-1) and secondly based on XII percentile basis (Merit-2). After declaration of REAP-2015 merit, the candidates desirous to take admission in first year of degree engineering courses will have to fill online option form. The detailed direction / guidelines and schedule regarding filling of option form will be issued by the Coordinator, REAP-2015 later on. The candidate will be allowed to exercise his/her option for allotment of seat from any one of the two merit lists i.e. either on the basis of JEE Mains score (Merit-1) or Percentile of 10+2 examination (Merit-2).

Phase 2

After declaration of REAP-2015 merit, the candidates desirous to take admission in first year of degree engineering courses will have to fill online option form. The detailed direction / guidelines and schedule will be issued by the Coordinator, REAP-2015 later on. Subsequently the candidate will have to deposit Rs. 10000/- at the time of filling the option form. The admissions will be carried out on the basis of merit in REAP-2015, the order of options filled in by the candidates in the option form and seats available in respective institute.

After choosing the category of merit list as basis of allotment of seat, the candidate can proceed to fill his/her subject and college wise options. Further, it is clarified that the candidate has to opt for either merit-1 or merit-2 before proceeding to fill the online option form.

For For B.Arch Admission (thru NATA Score)

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan Domicile and out of Rajasthan Domicile for admission to 1st year of B. Arch. Courses on the basis of NATA score. The process of online submission of application cum option form shall be carried out through the following website :- http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in ,www.reapadm.com ,www.reapadm.org.

The candidate will have to take printout (hardcopy) of Application Form, Option form after filling the online application cum option form from above websites. Hard copy of Application form, option form, Demand draft of Rs. 11000/- in favour Coordinator, REAP-2015 payable at Jodhpur, NATA score card and other requisite documents are to be sent to REAP-2015 office.

• Rs. 1000/- as Application form fees (Non Refundable)
• Rs. 10000/- to be adjusted against admission fees. (Forfeited if candidate deny to join in the allotted institute as per Option Form and merit.)

Schedule For B.Arch Course

• Date of commencement for filling of the Online Application Form – 10-06-2015
• Date of closure for filling of the Online Application cum Option Form – 20-06-2015
• Last date for receipt of Application cum Option Form with required documents at REAP office, Jodhpur – 24-06-2015

Admission Procedure for B.Arch Course

Separate merit lists will be prepared for Candidates belonging to the State of Rajasthan and another for candidates belonging to State other than Rajasthan. Both the merit lists will be prepared based on the following criteria-

• 50% of NATA score
• 50% of Qualifying Examination

The Merit List will be declared on 27-06-2015 , Declaration of Allotment List – 01-07-2015, Last date of reporting at allotted institution – 07-07-2015 . If a candidate does not report to the allotted institution his/her fees (i.e. Rs. 10,000/-) deposited along with the Application form will be forfeited.
