Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, is one of the premier educational institutes in the field of law, established in 2014. In order to obtain the degree, a student of B.A., LL.B (Hons)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons.) is required to score 200 credits by pursuing the mandatory courses prescribed by the Bar Council of India and other elective courses offered by the University. Students are also required to pursue foundational mandatory courses from humanities commerce streams. The Maharashtra National Law University offered 5 year BA-LL.B and B.com-LLB course in the field of Law. Admission to B.A-LLB/ B.Com-LLB candidate must have cleared Class XII with minimum 50% from recognized University, admission will made through on the basis of CLAT Exam conducted by the University of Mumbai. It is an integrated degree for 5 years with 10 semesters. Candidates appearing for Class 12th (or equivalent) examination in March/April may apply provisionally. For LLM Candidate should have cleared LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B./any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks for general/OBC/PWD categories and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST categories, Candidates appearing for qualifying examination (final year) may apply provisionally.
