Marwar Engineering College Research Center (MECRC), Jodhpur was established in 2003. It was established with a sole aim to impart quality education to the youth of Rajasthan. MECRC approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

MECRC was established with the mission of higher technical education with a synergy of quality teaching, dedicated faculty and state-of-art infrastructure facilities. Admission Procedure

For B.Tech - The minimum academic qualification for admission to B. Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non Creamy layer)” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE).

For Lateral Entry(B.Tech.-II yr) - Ten percent of the sanctioned intake in each discipline of I year B.Tech. is reserved for admission in II year B.Tech. for Diploma in Engineering (in concerned branch) and B.Sc. with Maths (as a subject) with minimum 45% for General and 40% for ST/SC/OBC. The Centralized Admission Coordination will fill up these seats through counseling, after inviting applications from the eligible candidates through LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy).

For M.Tech - Admissions to the M. Tech course are done directly on the basis of merit. GATE qualified candidate are preferred. As per AICTE normsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Candidate should obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
