Institute of Agri Business Management Education is now a priority area in the country as several State Agricultural Universities and Agricultural Institutes have added MBA (Agri Business) and equivalent programmes to their educational systems over the past one decade in order to meet the demand of skilled agribusiness managers. Institute of Agri Business Management , Bikaner was established with the financial assistance from the World Bank in 2000 AD, as a constituent unit of SKRAU, the Institute of Agri Business Management visualizes solution oriented and agro industry need based management education, training, research and policy related activities to give an impetus to the development of agro based industry, in particular, and rural development, in general.
The institute is today recognized as an exclusive sectoral business school with a mission to provide professionally competent managers to shoulder responsibilities in the leading corporate/noncorporate organizations under agribusiness and allied sectors.
Admission Procedure:
The admission to the MBA (Agri Business) programme will be done on the basis of the CAT – 2014 to be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score will be considered for admission as per the eligibility criteria set up by the institute.

The intake capacity is 30 seats (regular 25 and 5 payment).

Indian nationals below 30 years of age and possessing Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Allied fields (Horticulture / Vet. & Animal Science / Dairy Science / Daisry Technology / Food Science / Food Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Agro Forestry / Home Science / Fisheries, etc.) from any Agricultural University or institution recognized by ICAR with a minimum 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the programme.
The admission to the MBA (Agri Business) programme will be done on the basis of the CAT Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
