Government Polytechnic College, Kota is a government organization under the Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur.
The College was established in the year 1960 with the goal of providing diploma in just 3 conventional branches of engineering. Later on with the advancement of time it introduced other brances to its curriculum. Presently it offers diploma in total eight brances of engineering.
