Government Engineering College Bharatpur (GECB) is autonomous college of Government of Rajasthan. The campus of GECBH is spread over an area of 40 acres and located at Agra-Jaipur National Highway No.-11. It was established in the year 2007 with a vision "To make students technologically superior and ethically strong and build them as professionals who will become the trendsetters in the industry". The institute is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BHARATPUR is providing such an environment which is technically focused and is following a structured system of revising the curriculum, which not only helps students to pace up with the changing technical scenario but also helps in overall development of our students.
Govt. Engineering college Bharatpur presently offers B.Tech. programs in six branches as under:
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
For B.Tech - Admissions to the B. Tech courses is done through counseling done on the basis of rank scored in JEE (Mains) which is conducted annually by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and candidate should have passed with 45% Marks in PCM and (40% Marks in PCM for SC/ST) in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or any other examination recognized / equivalent to board. Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission in B.Tech. course shall be as under: Maths & Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science and Biology as optional subject.
