Govt College Of Engineering & Technology in Bikaner

Govt. College Of Engineering & Technology, Bikaner is Approved by AICTE.New Delhi and is Affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU)(Kota). It was established in the year 2007 with an intake of 3000 students. The intake was further increased in 2012. GCET is running by ECB socity with the aim to equip students with the latest engineering skills and knowledge to successfully meet the challenges posed by globalization and to provide comprehensive engineering education and necessary technical skills by developing a professional outlook in every walk of life.

CET is a renowned institution in the field of Engineering, Management education. ECB socity possesses 337 bighas of land on which construction work has been accomplished on one lac square meter. 4 colleges viz. Govt. Enginnering College Bikaner, Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Govt. ECB Polytechnic and Govt. ECB ITI are being run by the Engineering College Bikaner society.

  Admission Process & Criteria
  The Institute has an intake of 60 students each year. The admission to the two-year programme is through RMAT, conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. (RTU).
  
  Eligibility
  10+2+3 degree in any branch of study or equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at degree level.( 45 % for SC, ST, OBC.).

• BCA
  Course Eligibility
  A candidate fulfilling the following conditions will be considered eligible for BCA admission.
  A candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) in ay stream or an equivalent examination with 48% of marks for General Category or 45% for Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/others) min aggregate.
