BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bangalore, is the first private sector initiative in engineering education in India, established in 1946. The campus area is 15 Acres with a built up area of 62,068Sq. BMSCE today offers 13 Undergraduate & 16 Postgraduate courses both in conventional and emerging areas. 15 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering B.Arch, M.Tech, B.E, MCA PhD (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Management. The College has been effectively practicing outcome based education. Admission to B.Arch/B.E Candidates must have scored 50% of marks in Mathematics subject in class 12 examination, including five subjects. These candidates must appear for JEE Mains are eligible for admission. For M.Arch candidates must have Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) passed with minimum 50% marks in the Entrance Examination. For M.Tech candidates should have clear the Master Degree with minimum 50% marks, admission will be made through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For MCA candidates need 50% marks in Bachelors Degree, candidates must have Mathematics as subjects in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation. For PhD candidates must have to hold Master Degree, admission will be made through as per University norms.
