AIPMT 2017 Exam - All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test

Online applications are invited for AIPMT 2017 - All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test 2017to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses Under 15% All India Quota seats and also for seats under the control of participating States/Universites/Instiutions in the academic sesion 2017. AIPMT 2017 is an annual exam conducted every year for admission to some top MBBS and BDS colleges of India.

AIPMT 2017 Qualification and Eligibility

Age Limit– He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Education – The candidate must have pased in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individualy and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Clases, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disabilty of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST- PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are apearing Clas XI examination in 2017 can also apear for the entrance test provisionaly subject to their fulfiling the conditons later.

AIPMT 2017 Exam Pattern

(i) Pattern of the Entrance Test:-

• The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 03 hours.

(ii) Language of the Question Papers:-

• Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.
• Option of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
• Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates optfor Hindi would be provided Test Booklet in both Hindi and English, i.e., Bilingual.
• In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.

Mode Of Fee Submission

• Through any Debit/Credit Card using on-line payment gateway facilty of Syndicate Bank/ ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/ State Bank of India.
• Through e-chalan by depositng fe in any of the branch of Syndicate Bank/ ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/ State Bank of India. The chalan may be generated after filing form on AIPMT website www.aipmt.nic.in
