National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture with the end goal of settling standards and guidelines for architectural institutions. NATA Architecture Entrance Exam is conducted at national level to give a solitary window system by taking the aptitude test and to facilitate organizations, candidates for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all perceived Institutions all over nation.
NATA 2017 Registration form can filled and submitted ONLINE from this website by payment of NATA fees of Rs. 1250.00 (+ Processing Charges) using Netbanking / Credit Cards / ICICI Isure Bank Challan. Download the Prefilled Registration form and procure the necessary registration documents. Select a Test Center / Region (from the website http://www.nata.in) at a location convenient to the candidate. Approach the Test center for Appointment for NATA Exam.
Any person having passed SSC (Std X) or equivalent examination and above can appear for NATA. However, only candidates who have qualified an aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course. No direct lateral admission is allowed at any year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification. NATA score shall be valid for a period of two years from the year in which one appeared.
Important Things to Remember When Registering
As per Council of Architecture regulations, a candidate applying to any school / college of architecture in India should have 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject and as per admission guidelines prescribed by CoA and have achieved 40% score in NATA, i.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year of 5-year B.Arch. Degree Course.After receiving score card / Mark list and HSC / std XII results, the candidate may apply for admission to any of the participating institutions as per the time schedule specified by the appropriate admission authority, along with all the documents desired by it.
