Christ University, Bangalore, was an Autonomous institution since 2005. Christ College was reaccredited with an A+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for quality education in 2005. It has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as an institution with "Potential for Excellence, established in 1969. Christ University offers courses in the field of Management, Commerce, and engineering programs. Admission to B.Tech candidate passes at the +2 level Examination with an aggregate of 50% marks from any recognized Board in India or abroad. It is compulsory to have studied (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) at Class XII level and 50% of marks in Mathematics is mandatory. For MBA candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree / Master Degree Examination of any recognized University or equivalent and have secured at least 60% of marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in the Bachelor's Degree Examination in aggregate. Selection of a candidate will be made through Common Entrance Test i.e. CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT. For M.Sc candidates must have pass Bachelors graduates with 50% aggregate marks with mathematics and statistics at higher level, admission will depend on performance in interview For other Bachelors degree candidates needs to be passed Class XII with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university, admission will be made through on the basis of MAT/CMAT/CAT/PGCET Entrance Exam.
